I've been meaning to do a Hot Wheels dump of recent purchases for a while, and I've finally taken the time to snap some pictures (sorry about the potato). What I've got here is just what I've purchased this calendar year.
That's 67....and there's at least 8-10 that weren't in the picture either. Across the middle is a White K&N Torino, a White Datsun 510, a black Toyota 2000GT, a green Stingray Concept, a yellow Ferrari 512TR, a red Celica, a white Chevelle wagon, a black 458, and a '55 Chevy Gasser.
I was particularly proud of the A100. I thought that was one of the coolest cars or trucks I'd seen yet.
Then I found this:
I didn't even have to think about this one...bought it immediately. I usually take my cars out of the package, but that one's never coming out.
I've prattled on for a bit in my first Oppo post...but I'd like to post 2 more in order to thank $kaycog for giving me Oppo posting rights. Of all the old Matchbox & Hot Wheels I had growing up (I'll be 39 next month), this one was my favorite without a doubt:
My GT40mkIV with red-line wheels and opening hood....and even a Gurney Bump.
Obviously, it's been played with a lot...with all the chips in the paint and the crack in the windshield. On the bottom it says 1968, but I'm not sure what year that one was from.

Ermagherd, I need to look for the 458 Spider next time I go to Target.
Never knew they made a red 2000GT, I have the black one and I saw a yellow one at the KMart event.
YAY Ferrari 5-Pack BUDDIES if I didn't already say it to you.

I hadn't heard about the Kmart event until last Friday, so I couldn't get in on it. I'll definitely be in on the next one.
I checked my local store on Sunday to see if the yellow 2000GT or the white E30 M3 were there but they didn't have any.

I have a couple of extra white M3s that I put up for trade earlier today if you want one, but I haven't found a way to send card Hot Wheels cheap enough that my college wallet can handle it.

Oh and also, the KMart events are fun. This past one was my first KMart event, I'll definitely be going to every single one I can :P

I'll stop back to the local store and check again probably next month, but if I don't see one then I may take you up on that offer.

K. Oh and if you see Porsches or Ferraris, those are what I collect and I'll trade you for them :3 (shamless comment)

The trick I use is take a small padded envelope like below and put three stamps on it... wrap the car in bubblewrap to ensure the case stays in good shape... works every time!

I always laugh at how skinny Alexander Skarsgard is in that movie.

I saw that A100, but it was in a Gift Pack, and as a collector of individual cars, you could probably imagine how dissapointed I was that they didn't have an individual one.

I'm usually not a fan of multi-car packs, but I didn't see any other way to get the Hot Wheels Countach or several of the ferraris. When I got my orange Datsun 620, I originally found it in a 3-pack. My girlfriend later found it packed individually at a local grocery store, and she later returned the 3-pack to the wally mart as it hadn't been opened.
